Automation of trading is becoming very popular with the advancement of technologies, and MT4, MT5, and MT6 are various robot trading platforms available to traders worldwide, helping them to trade without directly involving or being present in the market or platform. And it is important to understand that MT5 is not the updated version of MT4 but rather a platform that is more suitable for centralized exchanges. However, MT4 is more adaptable to the forex market structure since it is specially designed to trade efficiently in decentralized markets like forex. I don’t think Mt4 is going anywhere in at least the next 15–20 years. I like using the cTrader platform with OctaFX, which I do believe is the future, but still, Mt4 is too good for anyone to hate, but I do love the cTrader platform, too, and enjoy working on that, especially with scalping.
